Our Event Clinical Teams are tasked with providing high quality patient care which is current and evidenced based, with the majority of this services being provided by volunteers who may range from lay members of the public who have received the appropriate training to that of highly skilled healthcare professionals operating under the clinical governance of a Doctor.

Devon EMS based Teams
Community First Aid Services
This team is tasked with providing event cover at small low risk community or charitable events, the team relies on the services of volunteers at all times who may operate from a medical car, tent, or non-transport ambulance.
This team is the entry level team for those joining the organisation with little or no previous experience, enabling those who wish to and are able to progress to the more advanced AmbFAS based teams.
Logistics and Clinical Support Services Team
For our event medics to provide excellence in care which they strive to provide much in the way of background preperation and for larger events on-going support is required, this is the role of our
Logistics Team
"Medics Treat - Logistics Enable"
The role of the Logistics Team surrounds keeping vehicles and equipment in fit for purpose order, ensuring supplies are available, site set up and take down.
Event Support Services [ESS]
Operating as a sub-team attached to our Logistics Team ESS will be tasked with supporting events with the provision of Event Stewards who may be tasked to such areas of "site meet & greet" car parking. assisting those with restricted mobility, providing directions, crowd control, supporting Event Security, emergency first aid and a radio communications net.
This service is being developed.
AmbFAS based Teams
South West Response Team [SWR]
The SWR Team has been formed following the integration of South West Response Ltd into AmbFAS with the team being managed by the founder and CEO of SWR Ltd.
The team is tasked with providing an advanced first aid service to events throughout the South West Peninsula, using a mix of volunteers and paid bank staff.
The team caters for those who wish to operate at an advanced level on-site as opposed to ambulance work or the more specialised role associated with our EMC Team.
Ambulance Response and Transfer Team [ART]
Our ART Team is tasked with providing an Emergency Ambulance Response and Transfer facility at key events, which may involve primary transfers from an incident site to our on-site Medical Centre or to a Hospital ED.
We also provide this service to other providers which may be linked into to our Medical Centre service and incorporated into their event medical plans enabling them to tender for larger events.
Team members at Level 1 and 2 staff our Community Transport or Patient Transfer service.
Clinical Support Team
Our Clinical Support Team comprising of very experienced providers operating in an Associate Practitioner type role plus experienced Healthcare Practitioners provide clinical support to our Emergency Ambulance Crews, Clincal Supervisors within our Advanced First Aid Team plus our Event Medical Centre.
The team which will normally operate from our Medical Centre provide a direct service within the centre, plus an outreach service to an incident or static unit, and a remote service.
The team will normally respond in a single crewed car or as a High Dependency Ambulance crew, which will also undertake high dependency transportation as required.
Event Medical Centre [EMC] and Wellbeing Team
Our EMC operates as a clinical hub deployed mainly to larger events although the team will often input into smaller events.
In its full role the EMC will provide triage, treatment area, consultation area, high dependency area, and recovery areas.
The team is led by the Centre Co-ordinator at an Associate Practitioner type level and supported clinically by Healthcare Practitioners as indicated.
Team members at Level 1 and Level 2 are also being recruited and trained in "wellbeing" to promote good health practise at festivals plus a welfare service.
